The Ascaso Dream PID combines one of the most recognizable designs in home espresso with the precision features expected by today's home barista. Designed in Barcelona, its sculpted aluminum body hides a high-performance thermoblock system, digital PID temperature control, programmable pre-infusion and a professional 58 mm portafilter.

Compact enough for a home coffee station yet equipped with controls normally associated with larger prosumer machines, the Dream PID gives you direct control over temperature, dose, pre-infusion and extraction pressure while preserving the colourful retro character that has defined the Dream collection for decades.

Precise PID Temperature Control

The digital PID system provides thermal stability of approximately ±1.5°C and lets you adjust coffee temperature from 80°C to 110°C in precise 1°C increments.

Steam temperature can also be adjusted independently from 110°C to 165°C, allowing you to tailor the machine to your espresso recipe and milk-texturing preferences.

58 mm Professional Portafilter

The Dream PID uses a professional 58 mm stainless-steel portafilter format, giving you access to a broad ecosystem of compatible baskets, tampers, dosing tools and other barista accessories.

High-Performance Thermoblock

Instead of storing a large volume of hot water in a traditional boiler, Ascaso's thermoblock technology heats fresh water as it is required. This contributes to faster warm-up, reduced stagnant water and improved energy efficiency.

Programmable Pre-Infusion

Adjustable pre-infusion lets you wet the coffee puck gently before full extraction pressure is applied. This gives you another tool for dialing in different coffees and developing a more even extraction.
