Overview

The history of espresso traces back to 1901 in Milan, when Luigi Bezzera created the method of brewing under precise temperature and pressure, unlocking the aromatic oils that define espresso’s rich flavor. Since then, the Bezzera family has continued this tradition, building machines and grinders that combine refined design with advanced engineering.

The Bezzera Magica captures both heritage and innovation. Featuring a 2-liter copper heat-exchanger boiler, it allows you to brew coffee, froth milk, and dispense hot water simultaneously. It includes safety features such as automatic shut-off when the boiler runs dry, a lever-operated E61 grouphead, a spacious water tank, built-in cup warmer, a pressure gauge for extraction monitoring, and joystick-style steam and hot water wands for instant operation.

In its latest generation, the Magica is equipped with a PID controller, ensuring excellent temperature stability and the ability to fine-tune brew temperatures for specialty coffees. This delivers consistently balanced extractions tailored to different beans.

Features

E61 Grouphead
The iconic E61 grouphead, in use for over 50 years, employs a thermosyphon circulation system to maintain optimal brewing temperature. Raising the lever activates the pump and solenoid valve, starting the shot; lowering it stops the extraction.

Heat Exchanger Boiler
A 2 L copper boiler with a heat-exchanger system lets you steam milk and pull espresso at the same time. The 1350 W heating element is thermostat-controlled for stable operation.

Dual Pressure Gauges
The Magica is equipped with two manometers: one for boiler pressure, and another for brew pressure. The extraction gauge offers valuable feedback while pulling shots.

Vibratory Pump
Powered by a 15 BAR vibratory pump, the machine ensures full flavor extraction.

Three-Way Solenoid Valve
Once brewing stops, the 3-way valve releases pressure and drains excess water, so you can immediately remove and refill the portafilter.

Steam and Hot Water Wands
Ball-joint mounted wands provide full range of motion. The steam wand produces silky microfoam with ease, while the hot water wand is ideal for americanos or tea.

Joystick Controls
The joystick levers activate instantly with a push, unlike twist knobs that can be overtightened.

Automatic Boiler Refill
The machine automatically refills the boiler from its 4 L water tank, ensuring uninterrupted brewing.

PID Control
The integrated PID enhances thermal stability, eliminates the need for cooling flushes, and allows fine adjustments to optimize extraction for different beans.
